safety, and thermal stress resistance.

Basic Form

Standard glass that has been slowly cooled to relieve internal stresses, offering fundamental transparency and light transmission.

Versatility

Can be cut, drilled, and edged after manufacturing, making it suitable for applications where post-fabrication modifications are needed.

Cost-Effective

Generally the most economical glass option for applications not requiring enhanced strength or safety features.

Enhanced Strength

Produced by heating glass to high temperatures (approx. 1150°F) and then rapidly cooling it, creating surface compression that makes it stronger than annealed glass.

Improved Safety (Tempered)

Fully tempered glass breaks into small, relatively harmless pieces upon impact, significantly reducing the likelihood of serious cutting injuries, meeting safety glazing standards.

Applications
